Chris Barrow
Chief Executive Officer
Chris Barrow was recently promoted from his role as Sequiam’s COO to the CEO position; taking full responsibility for the company’s global operations and long-term strategic development. Chris has a successful track record of building sales organizations and leading business development and marketing initiatives for technology companies. Before he joined Sequiam Mr. Barrow was executive vice president of HyperQuality, a Seattle-based technology and services company where he built a sales organization that tripled revenues in less than 2 years. Mr. Barrow also served as senior vice president of Reliance, one of India's largest companies, where he led a new US-based operating division. Prior to that, he was executive vice president of sales, marketing and business development for Toronto-based WebHelp, a private technology and services company. While at WebHelp, Mr. Barrow was responsible for generating sales growth in excess of $50 million helping the company earn Profit Magazine's "Fastest Growing Company" Award. Earlier in his career Barrow spent time as vice president of sales and global marketing at Sitel (SWW) and in key executive roles at 3Com (COMS) and Compaq Computer/Hewlett Packard (HPQ).
Mark Mroczkowski
CFO / Executive Vice President
Mark Mroczkowski has served as Executive Vice President and CFO for Sequiam Corporation and subsidiaries since their inception. Mr. Mroczkowski has also served on the Company's board of directors since the very beginning. He brings to the company an extensive background as CFO and senior manager of other organizations. Prior to Sequiam, Mr. Mroczkowski was the Chief Financial Officer of GeoStar Corporation from 1994 until 1999. From 1975 until 1994, Mr. Mroczkowski practiced public accounting with several large firms and ultimately formed his own successful firm. During those years he also founded or co-founded and managed several other profitable ventures both domestically and internationally. Mr. Mroczkowski holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Florida State University, he is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Florida and a commercial pilot. He has managed private placements, debt financing and IPO preparations for a number of firms. He has also managed audit, tax and consulting engagements for a variety of organizations..
Alan McGinn
CTO / Vice President
Alan McGinn has served as Chief Technology Officer for Sequiam Corporation since March, 2003. He had been President of W.M.W. Communications, Inc., d/b/a Access Orlando since 1995. During that time, he also served as a consultant to SMART Biometrics prior to its acquisition by Sequiam. From 1984 to 1995, Mr. McGinn was the Senior Design Engineer at Lockheed Martin. While he was at Lockheed Martin, Mr. McGinn designed the night vision system for the Apache Attack Helicopter. His other significant designs included: Microcontroller-based servo control systems; Laser tracker controller with a 1553 bus interface; Microcontroller based control panel for helicopter navigation; CCD camera with real time image processing; and Fiber Optic communications link and tracker interface. Mr. McGinn has a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and an M.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. Alan is Sequiam's lead biometric technology engineer and is responsible for the management of the company's global development teams in South Africa, Taiwan and China.
Robert N. Allen
Vice President of Strategic Development
Rob Allen joined Sequiam in late-2007 as the Vice President of Strategic Development and is responsible for managing Sequiam’s external messaging which includes Investor Relations, Affiliation & Partnership Programs and Media Contacts. Before coming to Sequiam, Rob worked as a Senior Research Analyst for 3 years at Frost & Sullivan, a global consultancy. While there, Rob covered the Automated Identification & Security industry which includes Biometric, RFID, Smart Card and similar technology segments. Because of this experience Rob has close relationships with a wide array of stakeholders in the identity management market. It is anticipated that he will be able to leverage these contacts to help Sequiam execute various strategic initiatives over the course of its development. Rob has a B.B.A in Business Administration from Texas State University and an MBA in International Business from Rotterdam School of Management, The Netherlands.
Kevin Henderson
Chief Biometric Officer
Kevin handles the day-to-day operations of the Company and supervises product development, manufacturing and integration. Previously he has developed numerous biometric, smart card and software products and operated a large IT firm in Houston, Texas. Kevin has been a NASA contractor for 12 years. Kevin has also held the positions of US Territorial Representative for Inmos Semiconductor, President of Bioidentix, Inc., and CTO of the PAR Worldwide group. He has also appeared as guest host on the syndicated radio shows such as 'CPU' for NBC radio. A member of MENSA, Kevin is a biometric technology visionary and astute business manager.
Shane Griffin
Managing Director - Sequiam Africa
Shane Griffin currently serves as the Managing Director of Sequiam Africa (biometrics.co.za). Shane has 20 Years of experience in various management disciplines with strong emphasis on Marketing and product development and has held a number of senior management positions across vertical business types, e.g. Retail, Business Consulting and Biometrics. Direct exposure to Business Operations and Strategic Leadership positions that has equipped Shane with a good understanding of financial and general management requirements that makes a business viable for both investor and customer. In depth and sustained experience with Human Resources under his control equipped him with the ability to match business goals and human capital to ensure mutual value added outcomes are ensured
